A Romantic Riddance
So easy to surrender, so hard to regret
a cuddle in a cold day, swept off at sunset.
Lies told by lustrous lips wandered away
as dusky desires drowned in a sunny day…
Her scented sweats desiccated like the dew,
the taste of her trust, now feels like sour stew.
So easy to surrender, so hard to regret
A cuddle in a cold day, swept off at sunset.
The tales of tenderness, the twisting tongues,
the happy endings, the sorrowful songs.
Sweet memories lost, sweet memories found,
timely trees planted, fallen leaves abound.
Tired, I tried to find shelter under a tree,
to be cocooned in the serenity of the sea,
my dreams filled with the flowers in flight
could not be rescued by the wind at twilight.
So easy to surrender, so hard to regret
a cuddle in a cold day, swept off at sunset.
My heart burns with the fire of her fragrance
Yet my soul sings of a romantic riddance
my dreams are filled with dreams of sin,
of moments and memories in a billowing bin.
So easy to surrender, so hard to regret
a cuddle in a cold day, swept off at sunset.
