A Romantic Reverse
If ever you despise my love,
Sunray would bow to dusky hills,
and over oceans shed her glow;
the full moon will roam around,
like autumn roses fade at noon,
far from the fist of fragrant fate,
my morning bloom will fly.
When all well said is undone
when lies and lust deny me thee,
Love and life can never wait,
kiss my keys and close the door.
