A Rocka Chocka
How hard can it be,
to write a chocka poem?
I’ll give it a try.
to follow the rules,
for each alternative line
must be quite correct.
With five-seven-five
syllables, keeping the count,
aligned to the left.
Shall never be bold,
Or ever use italics,
nor make this too long.
I am not afraid,
but hope I’ll not die trying,
to write this chocka.
Therefore, I must know,
Have I stirred your emotions,
through these written words.
Or should I give up?
I will now ask this question,
Did I do enough,
