A Riverfront Poem In Memory of Her In Advance

watching her play guitar listening to her sing first, urge for going next, river i smile, knowing that these may be her last holding her and warming her listening to julian lennon's valotte recognizing the pattern and the theme of rivers, we decide to drive there as i go to get her ocean blue blanket, she smiles at me and laughs once upon a time we could not stand the sight of each other the arguments were such that could make a blazing inferno cower the time that we spent in the auspices of our individual growth matured the loathing into pure love i laugh with her at the absurdity of our past and history my sweet pecan praline beauty was diagnosed with terminal cancer five months ago today the story of this day is joy and jovial benevolence God Blessed Us with a Good Day for her today after the complete and total opposite yesterday, i will take the savings in my tear account and let it draw interest until i pull up bobby goldsboro's honey on my phone after making sure she is safe, secure, warm, and okay, off we go to our favorite riverfront spot it is where my life so beautifully and wonderfully changed, and i will cherish that Precious Moment Forever.....
