A Rhyming Poem

Where do I start
Rhyming is my game
Trying something different
Just wouldn't be the same

Sometimes words come easy
That's not always true
I try to tell a story
Of me or maybe you

I don't know where it comes from
I don't know where it goes
But the final destination...
"HEY". Nobody knows

Rockman :-)

a poetic adventure Rockman.. light and lilting lines to uplift the reader.. so appreciate your sweet critique' of my work.. I was named "Sweetheart" of P.S. by H.G.Garvey Esquire ..a premier poet here when I first joined in 2009..the name stuck so I try to live up to the meaning of the word..hope this clarifies for u luv..

Sometimes I know where the poem is going, sometimes I don't, that's for sure!! After being here awhile, I agree with you, rhyming is usually more fun to read at least, although there are some mighty fine free verse poems to read as well! Thanks for visiting Dark Angel. I certainly did not have Dark Knight in my mind when I wrote it, but it is strange how it coincides with that dark event in our history!

This is pretty much the way I write my poetry too. It comes and I have to write it down. Thanks for reading and commenting on my latest posting. I meant to show two would be lovers who had been just missing each other and had not yet met. One is searching the other is waiting and longing. Very young and idealistic they are. I will read more of you soon. It's been a long day. Love, Joyce

You manage to say what I often feel and it's not getting easier. It is nice to know someone else can't always get it together.

Please don't ever try to change! You were made to rhyme. I love it! :)
