A Reflection of Love

How I longeth for thee and never have i to have found for there truly can be none more fairer than thou thine alone is a beauty to behold in so hath that it doeth surpasses my sight for me to look within your radiant eyes to sink beneath thy passion into that of your romantic realm alas therefore my darling it is the kingdom of the heart the place i desire to dwell as from the moment of our embrace that i will not forsake even the memory of a reflection captured thereupon the lake by that of a silvery moon for a warm summer breeze flowed through your hair as the aroma of your perfume did fill the air and i kissed you upon the lips and they did taste with that of the sweetness of honeydew and so whispered i in your ear by the breath of my voice gentle words of sensual pleasure and delight for you are more delicate than the petals of a flower even to the touch of softness upon your neck therewith blushing roses above on your cheeks for our lives are like that of two turtle doves taken to flight as we move through the motions to dance through the night to that of a sonata of a lovers tune this is how much i cherish you Poet: John Myers Copyright ©2009 John J Myers

A beautifully tender and heartfelt piece, John. Warm subtle imagey, almost dreamlike, yet still vividly alive. Your muse, most certainly a Valentine cherub, whilst you penned this verse. A smooth flow that runs through the entire poem. First poem I opened this morning, a pleasant start to anyone's day! Blessings, and wishing the best to you. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us!! With love, Mikki
