A Reason To Live

Maybe I've lived to long
Maybe I grown to wise
Now that I see beyond
What lies before my eyes

It seems like I loved a lot
It seems that I've cried to much
Yes I have been around
But somehow I have lost the touch

I know How a rich man feels
I know how a poor man crawls
When I thought I had everything
I really had nothing at all

I see how the world is going
I see how it is one big mess
But I have never seen anything prettier
Than you in that bright spring dress

I agree, the ending was pleasant and caught me by surprise! The poem spoke truth from the very beginning. This is life... A beautiful, horrible, wonderful, weird thing! Thanks for sharing!
