A Ray of Sunshine

In the wake of desperation,
In the cloud of disappointment,
There is a ray of sunshine,
“Where are you God?”
For this cloud is dark,
And I cannot see where I am swimming.
Swimming in the quicksand of worry and alienation,
Sun, rise and claim me Lord.
Rise and claim me.
