A Rare Chain Verse

A Rare Chain Verse By Franklin Price 12/27/2015 A rare chain verse I'll try to write Write writ in Byron's style Style that is quite old and strange Strange so this may take awhile Awhile so I may think of words Words I'll be putting down Down upon this paper Paper once a tree within the ground Ground the tree into a slurry Slurry dried into a sheet Sheet on which to write my verse Verse that's really quite a feat Feat because it's not on paper Paper not required for today Today there are computers Computers that remember what I say I say this saves a lot of trees Trees that refresh the air Air we breathe to stay alive Alive to write this chain verse rare

oh my, it was great fun to read your chain poem. I found it kind of humorous!! Especially the parts about paper and trees! Well, hope you had a great Xmas and will have a prosperous new year.

It was supposed to semi tongue in cheek while letting the reader realize that computers actually are saving trees; especially now that the internet allows us to send most any paperwork without ever using paper. Hope you had wonderful Christmas also and will have a happy and healthy New Year.
