A Rainy Day In Madrid
There came a rain that drove away
the day and the sun hid and quieted
the sound of people along the beach in
Madrid.
Only the seashells played in the sand and
small seagulls drilled for their food as the
sound of the crashing waves created it's
own music, like nature's own band.
All the foot prints along the morning's shore
erased away by the rain as though no one
had ever been there before.
It's amazing how the landscape resets it's
optical view and tomorrow when the sun
shines, it will all be like new.
