A Quietus on Compassion

Utter kind words to all you meet 
Or give a pleasing smile! 
All can offer it free of cost 
It leaves the world less vile. 

Hear all what others say
So, their pain you allay
In darkness, be a ray 

Visit those who are left desolate and lonely
Utter kind words that will be counted as godly
