A Quiet Commotion

You would never know
Just looking at me
Sitting there ...
Alone in a crowd

What's going on
In her head ...

While they whisper

She's shy
She's sad
She's cold

None of that

It's simply this ...
A quiet commotion

From my heart
To my mind
And back again

Swirling, settling
On the words
Swirling, settling
In the ink
Down the pen
Out to meet
With a piece of paper

Is this poetry?

To me, it sings ...
