A Question Over Tea
She was a nirvana mama, there ain’t no doubt
and that meant much a nothing to me,
and nothing ain’t nothing I care about,
so nothing couldn’t set me free.
I thought she was a little weird,
and she thought the same about me.
We danced in the halls and off the walls
Until we stopped for a cup of tea.
I got up the nerve in that little session,
and got myself down on one knee,
People stared as I asked the big question,
“darlin’ .. you take one lump or three?”
