Politics
in Hyde Park
was at the end of a shtick

FDR’s mouthpiece
a cigarette holder
suspended over
his spinning wheels

Pearl Harbor
a puff of smoke

It was a new deal
It was big

The peace pipe
signaling
W A R

USA
evened the score
