A Ps Spooky Tale .

It was the darkest midnight hour . With a howling wind and a thunder shower . As I tried real hard to get some sleep And my sanity , I had to keep . Ghosts of PoetrySoup swooped overhead . First came Vince and then came Fred. Christie , Raul and his chilling band Including Sharon , Carol and Brian Strand . They spoke their prose of by-gone times In sonnet , haiku and metered rhymes . Carolyn , James and Dane-Ann With chilling tales of tortured man . As I try to emulate their writes In my tormented day and frightening nights My pulse rate's high and my eyes are bleary So I beg for help !! .. Please ... Nurse Karen O'Leary ....

...And when she found it was too late... then all agreed to capitulate, a new verse spewed from Kellys moan, I'm Sean, poetry soups ham bone. I like my meals to come with ease, I like my soup with flavor, please, I'm not sick or down and out, just needed time to twist one out, yes all these poets are hard to follow, but I'm learning, with each and every swallow.-AA

What a great response to the "haunted poets" challenge. Be sure to let Nurse O'Leary know it's her turn. Reading these poems are so much fun. And you managed to include so many wonderful Soupers in yours! Excellent! Love, Carolyn
