A Promise Is a Promise
I promise ... to give to the benefit of the doubt
I promise ... to think first before spewing words out of my mouth
I promise ... to trust you and stop thinking the worst
I promise ... to be sane and cease these crazy outbursts
I promise ... to stand by you, be your lover and your friend
I promise ... to be a source of comfort, on me you can depend
I promise ... to love you more than you ever been loved before
I promise ... to be all that you want and even more
I promise ... to hold to close but never keep you confined
I promise ... to keep these promises, always in my heart in mind
