A Pretty Little Thing
Meet her at dawn
Meet her at noon
Or at times even under a moon
She’s a picture of delight
Not a trace of tiredness
On her pretty face
She sure has charm and grace.
Colours in a rainbow
She has them all
Spring is her best bet
She has no regrets
Silently she blooms
Lifting all gloom
Leaving a sweet perfume.
There she droops and departs
Slowly tugging at my heart
Her petals fall one by one
Blowing in the wind
Awakening memories
I write a poem for her in glory
She plays a big part in my story.
