A Pretty Family

I saw a pretty family. Their number was three.
Love was abound, they played, you could see.

I see a pretty family. It's not what it seems.
Each is lost and alone, they live in their dreams.

I see a pretty family. Life has moved along,
Money is not an issue, love lingers on.

I see a pretty family, of three down to one.
One got busy on their own, the other moved on.

So sits a member of a pretty family alone,
and let be. His wealth is much, but there's no one to see.

Had he paid more attention, if he lived less annoyed… perhaps he would not need to be alone to embrace the void.
