A Precious Memory

Cold mornings blur the eyes that wept throughout the night,
Like there will be no dawn
Yet, as the cool breeze comes
The dawn opened it's eyes
Brought with it favour and undeniable happiness
Everything was sweet and welcoming to attest the day
Fear and darkness held it's sting, washed it's face and hid it's organs
A thunderous shout of joy,
Wavy hands to touch,
The king
The one who by his might the day begins and ends
Praises can shake,
Praise.

Silent nights close in,
Bring flash backs
The smell of that North Pole
Shining sun for the ding songs
Awaking cheer from it's slumber
Oh joy to the world
