A PRE-CHRISTMAS AWARENESS

(A TANKA QUATRAIN)

 

Christmas, remember,

It’s not about Santa Claus:

It’s about Jesus:-

It’s not about Santa’s gifts,

But the gift of God in Jesus:-

 

The gift of Jesus,

Is the priceless gift of love:-

And our gifts should be likewise:

Feeding the hungry is love;

Housing the homeless is love:-

 

Let’s Santa Claus love,

With gifts being of life’s needs;

Not merchandising:

Let’s wrap the naked with clothes,

And bow-tie their rent money:-

 

Indeed, this Christmas, 

Let’s celebrate Christ’s Birthday

With gifts of His love:

Giving God all the glory,
