A Prayer Rug
Listen to poem:
Where the sea merges with the deep blue sky
Trivial, ordinary moments touch an angelic glory
To enter the recognition of eternity.
I wanted to gift you an armor , there
Never thought of a need for “Kafan.”
I saw you crying,
An awkward moment,
Though eyes do shed tears in pairs,
And life goes on with pain and loss.
Nevertheless,
I wanted to keep my presence hidden.
Because,
Tears of joy
And
Tears of pain
Are never the same,
Although, the same eyelashes
get wet with both.
I would rather wait for a long...long time
To see you
Smiling.
I am writing a letter to you
With a softer light , still, in the eastern sky.
I do not want to see you again.
You do not need to feel that
I am scared too.
