A Prayer For Those Who Love An Addict

Help me keep things past in the past
so we can begin to heal at last

Keep me ever mindful that he’s paid his dues
and be slow to judge until I’ve walked in his shoes

He me see that he makes amends each and every day
Help me not to spread the hurt by watching what I say

For I know my life was not a waste
I’ve tasted all there was to taste.

Trudy - God Bless the message in this poem hon - As you know the path that I chose was honesty about who and what I was - That way there is no reason for anyone to start spreading little rumors about it all - For my closet is empty and the whole world knows the truth of me - How are things going these days since the operation - Sorry I haven't stayed in more contact but my own health issues continue to mount - its all good though the Lord is with me - YF4L, God Bless, MJ
