A Prayer

I desire to have Your heart,
               walk in the Spirit,
               reflect your glory, and
               rest in Your sufficiency.
Instead, I too often wander by the whims of my momentary emotions,
reflect the darkness from which You saved me, and
remain unsettled until I collapse in exhaustion.
