A Prayer

Open up the mind and let new ideas flow, 
let the soul settle and create new roads, 
to lead your heart far and beyond. 
Get inspired to grow, 
motivated to know, 
all that is good and makes you grow,
wiser each day and stronger than a rock. 
May knowledge fill your soul, 
wisdom pour from your mouth when you let them know, 
that He lives in you and loves them all.
Listen to them all, 
for each one has some knowledge of their own, 
each one of them see's the world according to their vision. 
The good in some of them is shielded by bad thoughts, 
for the devil tries to bring them down, 
and make them doubt,
everything they have ever known. 
Let them know that God, 
rules everything that is beyond their control, 
that they should not fear the unknown, 
but they must trust in Him for He knows, 
the path that leads them home. 
Whatever they seek to know, 
is before them all they need to do is question, 
and the universe will respond.
Make them see through the wall, 
and God will break it all down and let them cross,
to the side they have always wished for.
My son, I hope that you will let them know, 
that they should move away from that which aims to control, 
their hearts to love vanity possessions. 
Let them know that people are meant to be loved, 
and things are meant to be used, 
not the other way round.
