A Poet's Tears

A nytime she writes, she writes with all her tears

P ondering all the heartaches that's haunted her for years
O pen and transparent to all that wanna see
E nding every sentence in tear stained agony
T rying not to falter with the words she'll choose to write
S itting in a darkened room with no ending near in sight

T elling of a long lost love that simply didn't last
E verything she seems to write reminds her of her past
A wake, she labors throughout the night to tell her tale of woe
R epeatedly wiping away her tears but the stains will always show
S ealing her art with tear stained ink that haunts her very soul
