'a Poets Life'

As a child we learn to speak and express..
As an adult we forget how too, and we digress..

With my mouth closed I scream so loud with my pen..
With my eyes closed I can see it all and what has been..

I can speak in rhyme and tell tales of a love and life..
I can now whisper in song and put words to sight..

Now a little older I can speak and write to express..
Now a little wiser because I think first I must confess..

Twisted Poem Contest...
The reason I have picked this poem is because I spent alot of my life trying to do just the opposite and sit in the back and not be heard.. Now I stand by the window and open my shirt and say "here is my soul to read" opened book for all to see..
