A Poet's Blood
I wonder where come the rumbles
that lie deep inside.
Ever hidden until inspiration strikes
at the writer's soul.
Then, welling up from darkness
and exposed to light.
Joined meaning and form like lovers
on their first night.
Is this the blood coursing through
only heard when cut?
The dilema that thunders in poets...
his gift of words.
