A Poet's Blood

I wonder where come the rumbles
  that lie deep inside.

Ever hidden until inspiration strikes
  at the writer's soul.

Then, welling up from darkness
  and exposed to light.

Joined meaning and form like lovers
  on their first night.

Is this the blood coursing through
  only heard when cut?

The dilema that thunders in poets...
  his gift of words.

Thank you, Olive. Sometimes I too, get an inspiration and have to work it out. It may come slowly, (Mellow to you), but it has a life that needs to speak. I appreciate your comments very much.
