A Poet's Benediction

Tenderly, kindle your scented candles~ Or burn some aromatic, heady incense, too! If only a few people acknowledge your worth, Why is it so important to you? You don't need the roar of the crowd! Because, you see,God knows your talents, And He applauds you most affirmatively. He is your number one follower. Just do your poetic best and do follow in His ways. After all, He is the Man of all  Men, who thinks the very best of you. More significantly, He is the man, that gave you the body you are in. That self same body that moves your poetic pen! The true honor to God is to be ourselves; afterall, he made sure we were each different, didn't he? Like snowflakes.

A great point, Caren! I do have to remind myself not to ignore God and make poetry a religion. Your snowflake, Panagiota

Comparison can be our downfall. The best we can be is our unique selves. Let our unique pearls be formed. <3 Kim

Hi, fellow pearl! Appreciate your time, visit and comment. Comments to me are satiny tied gifts from another poet. Witholding comments is so selfish! I do not understand poets who rarely comment. Panagiota Panagiota
