A Poet Touched My Heart

In my head I struggle with meanings
Heard but unseen, are many things
A distant land, an imaginary face
The “whys” and “hows” of things taking place

The scenes on the outside
The feelings in the inside
The meaning of love
The reason for hate

Words need words to make them worthy
Sometimes a few letters, sometimes wordy
A spell of emotions put in letters
To understand myself, when I look back later

Only a stranger can’t conceal what they feel
Like a masterpiece picture, that never stays still
Only words and emotions are never apart
Only a poet writes to touch a heart

I love this deep introspection. Very endearing, Michelo.
