A Poem Of Love

As I sit here thinking

Dreaming

Wishing

Singing

The only thing I can think of

Is you

… you it’s always you

Why is it always you..

In my thoughts

In my dreams

In my moments of peace

My heart aches for your touch

My body aches for your warmth..

ITS ALWAYS YOU..

No matter what I do

I can’t get you out of my head

Out my mind..

You have no idea how much time

Time..

TIME MOVES FAST..

faster then life

I blink and all I can see is your face growing wrinkles..

Your beautiful eyes dimming

Your hair turning white..

White..

The snow..

The color of bones..

Bones..

BONES six feet deep in the ground..

The ground.

The ground I see us in buried hand in hand.

Hand..

The hand I hold..while giving birth to our child or children as we grow old.

Old enough to know that this is meant to be..

Meant to be I often times think I’m crazy for thinking such things.

Things..things in my head in my mind tell me you’ll leave but my heart..

It speaks to me it tells me that what I think is a lie..

A lie of evil and dark

If that were the case you would have left by now..

You wouldn’t think

Or dream

Or cry

When we have to drop me off at my house

You wouldn’t smile at me the way you do

And tell me you think

That we will make it through

To the end of our lives

You wouldn’t say

I love you

I love you..

I LOVE YOU SO much it burns

Burns like a sacred flame

A flame that never goes out

That forever flame

I just love you..

I love you so much that the cells in my body dance with yours

Every time we touch..

They combine

Combine

I REMEMBER when we first combined

Not just our words

But our bodies

I transcended

Transcended (Why do I think of this)

TRANSCENDED INTO KNOWING THAT YOUR MINE AND IM YOURS.
