A Poem Is Sneaking Around the Corner

A poem is sneaking around the corner
of the kitchen
peeking at me

I do not know whether to spy her,
or play coy until she
jumps into my lap

I sit here waiting quietly.

Caren, this is just great. And only you could have written it. Perfect! :) gw
