A Poem For a Friend
Over the last three days I have begun to feel free
Just a sensation you know but please believe me
I have begun to look inside and clean up some things
I am finding a new purpose of being, let the bell ring
The work has just started, there is so much more to do
I am taking my time, trying to get it right, believe in me do you
One day, later I will be able to walk free, my head held high
Knowing I am able to look after myself, no longer having to cry
With your strength, hope and belief in me and my stay
I was able to focus on being a much better friend to you someday
