A Poem Comes Alive

eyes fixed on the screen..

          fingers search for right letters..

                            mind dreams words to say..

           phrases form meanings of life..

and so a poem is born..

It is in this "dream" state that some of the most eloquent poems emerge, Michael. An excellent tanka to which Soup members can relate. Goes to my faves. Love, Carolyn
