A Poem At 10:43 Pm

“A POEM AT 10:43 PM”

if you don’t leave
anything,
if you write dull ****,
it doesn’t matter what you
die from.
you gotta leave words
behind.
place me in the oil fields
of Bakersfield
and
watch me
die
before
my death.
