A Plea To Heaven's Throne Room
When empathy
steals joy,
My pen too heavy
to employ;
My tears can't stop
a war...
So why am I now writing for?
Silence so abounds,
Far from where war
vanquished
all joy's sounds.
Why do I own this
Heavy
Heart?
What good does it?
To play a part?
To heal the needless
suffering...
What could it offer;
But to bring
A plea to heaven's
throne room...
pleading!
For those suffering,
Or bravely
bleeding.
God, we can not
understand!
Please raise a shout,
A Word; Command.
Bring peace!
Oh Lord, we beg
Thee;
come!
On earth:
Love!
Healing!
Your Kingdom!
Amen
