A Plea For Spring
The winter has been here too long
still going strong
this freezing cold
is getting old.
Sunshine, please come and melt the snow
make flowers grow
so I can see
all their beauty.
When I can feel the Springtime sun
and winter's done
with thanks I'll pray
in warmth I'll play.
