A Place In the Sun

A cosmos packed of wondrous miracles sowed

Precious creations on it leave us awed
Like the sun with its own place in the making
Are appertained to the almighty's molding
Cold if not for the light after dark
Emerge the sun shining high and stark

If it not represent the good in mankind
Never will the evil seem dark and blind

There is a place in the sun's domain
House the blessings of God within 
Emanating its radiance on creatures to calm

Solace it brings with a caress so warm
Unto all from the loving divine
Never once does he forsake his shrine.
