A Place In the Sun

Sunflower has a smiling face, When planted in a sunny place, Those planted in the shade Soon look miserable and fade Sad because they are misplaced.

Who would plant a sunflower in the shade? That would be as dumb as a box of socks.

It is truly sad when one is in the wrong place and can only grin and bare it! Aloha!

The sunflowers are so amazing, aren't they? I love to see how they always face the sun. At night, when I turn on my porch light, they 'look' towards the light. My husband once told me to turn off the porch light, I was keeping the sunflowers awake, they needed their rest :) <3 I love your poem. It's true. When we are planted in the wrong place and cannot see the sunshine of our joys, we too will grow frail. The sunflower is a beautiful example.
