A Place In My Heart
Inside my mind I still picture your face.
Now I think, could the memory be wrong.
It does not matter in my mind and my heart,
You will always have a place.
Now that you are gone,
After all these years ,
My broken heart will always play your song.
I still think back to the time,
When my heart was yours and your heart was mine.
Then I decided I needed to be alone.
I still wonder how I made that decision,
So long ago.
I thought we were destined to be with together,
My mind was making bad decisions,
But how could I ever let our love go.
If only I could go back in time
I would tell myself why
Why I should stay
Make myself understand
Don't push true love away
I can't go back but I'll find a way
Someday
