A Piece of My Cake

A piece of my cake
Their rich table
Always filters their ego

Cos they never truly
Work to earn that large

So I wonder
How they could
Ever understand
The common man

From their windows
They see them
But they truly
Can't see the pain
We bear just only
To survive

Were only just
To eat is too
Expensive
Despite the hard labour
Our cupboard still
Remains empty

And survival remains
Our prayer request

Why not if not
