A Piece of Me

A Piece of Me

Every time you walk out of my life
You take a piece of my heart.
My heart is fragile, and falling apart.
You played with my emotions as if
It were a game, but I got something
For you, and you must don’t know my name.
You’ve played me for the last time, and it’s
Time for me to blow your mind.
No more chasing, and wishing
You were here.
Now just like the past you’re behind me.
They say love is blind, but I don’t believe
That’s true; we just don’t want to accept
Reality. What we choose
To perceive is truth, or fiction only relies on
Our convictions. The road we choose can lead in
One, or two directions and the one we choose can
Determine rather we win or lose.
