A Phase of Life

A Phase of Life 9/10/2014 In matters problematic with long life Has been the fading of things Once looked upon favorably toward being happy; But time, has staked its claim, Often rendering remaining days less than desirable; But being a defiant sort, I shake my fist and make this vow; Time has slowly taken my ability To hunt, fish, garden, ect, but never my desire; I shan’t allow time to take whatever hope remains; Though, at times, I confess, To wondering why I’m still here?
