A Permanent Smile
if i found
the eternal smile,
permanent...
this innocent sap
of an opened heart,
delusional...
I would always put it
ahead of all
unhealed hurts
by time...
would no longer house in
my smiling soul,
any sort of thing
that was decadent...
To these things I would say:
-leave me alone,
I'm glad now!
permanently
my soul would have
this answer
incontinent...
God made for everything,
cure and remedy:
the smile that challenges
incurable pain,
love that erases
unpalatable hate...
Since it's thus, i
would seize to
say goodbye to all
sadness and would scream:
- Goodbye, meet you maybe
in another world...
But if there is
memory that one can
transport something from here,
I carry it with me, suddenly,
the permanent smile,
over there to the other
place...!
