A Perfect World
By still and tranquil waters deep, where birds fly here and there,
and bears enjoy their winter's sleep-awaiting Spring and a land anew,
where once trees hung heavy with summer leaves-
and lovers words floated on a gentle breeze,
fishermen waited patiently for their first bite-
stand for a moment and the world seemed right.
