A Penny For the Heart
How much could your heart amount
Hanging from the mirror window?
There jingle the coins he counts
That could save him for tomorrow.
He sells his soul just to impart
A penny for the heart.
Patiently, you dance ‘till it’s twilight
As long as papers lay in bed.
He’s jasmine scent, you sweat tonight
The way you sway his casual red.
Oh he wanders the murky life just to impart
A penny for the heart.
To buy your soul never will
Turn what’s fancy into a spell.
It’ll never be that you’ll love me real,
We’ll just be tied in burning hell.
Oh I’ll not pay from the start
A penny for your heart.
