A Peek At My Week

Lull of the morn;
                                          Eve of the dawn,
                                   Waking up to liberty songs.

                             Monday creeps up to meet the sun,
                       Sunday, gone and done, too old to have fun,
                                 Of Saturdays nonchalant puns,

                        Friday bickering ‘Let’s play Truth or Dare!’
                           O’er midnight drinks and ballroom flair
                           Thursday pondering why is it so unfair?

                      Wednesday, awaiting a long parade of dread,
                Tuesday, just another day, having the same old bread,
                 And back to Monday, craving to crawl back into bed!

Flowers and sunshine my friend. So sad...I want to say...but heartfelt... Words of importance. Sometimes we do the same things so often, we don't notice the passing of our very lives. Hugs. Ann

Indeed so , how we rush through our days, bothering not to look back at all the things we left back ..These ordinary days which have become so meaningless yet are the most pleasant and peaceful when worries not come our way..i look forward the most to make the best of such days!
