A Path Not Yet Forgot

To fall down, e'er so low
to fear the passing of dawn
to hear fate's passing blow

To think t'was nothing but a kiss
to feel that this thing had gone
to kneel before lover's last bliss

To know that t'was I whom had fell
to believe we were once wrong
to grieve for dying love so well

You shall read, remember, put down in writ
you shall lead into Winter, our December
you shall see a path we had once lit

You shall leave, forget, put away tears ill percievedly spent
you shall grieve, but not for me, this love you now repent
you shall need anew and forsee anew, lest our memory torment

Anon is this, a parting, yet a gathering of words
letters upon a page sent spiralling towards
some bitter end this all will lead
only a lover scorned this passage need read
