A Path For Lovers

Beneath the glowing satellite,
a path for lovers grew.
So I set off and followed it
in hopes to find love too.

I wandered down meandrous roads
that twisted and crisscrossed,
but could not find love anywhere,
that wayward feeling, lost.

The light that once in music rose
faded and suddenly
bedimmed the tracks and hid the way,
at least it did for me.

What of the orb that's sung about
mysterious and praised,
if it can hardly shed or keep
that light for lovers raised?

Perhaps the moon drifts here and there
as broken hearts will do,
finding it hard to stay afloat
because it's lonely too.

I wonder if that mystic sphere
will light the path and when
or if in fact there really is
a way to love again.

Interesting perspective on love.. I've asked this question myself..Finding love is not easy and holding onto it is even harder but I have to believe that love is out there for everyone..Sometimes it can take many years before you find that special someone...Don't give up on it...I haven't..Just pray and be patient, God has the right person set aside just for you.~ Lovely write!!,God bless you and best wishes to you in finding love..Congratulations on this wonderful feature.*Tyesha

Ah Love, that fickle master of our hearts, coming and going at will...Love does return and usually more splendid than the last. Lessons learned in the past ripen to wisdom the next time around. Yours will come to you in time as well. Congratulations on your feature! Keep dreaming! Trudy

Being in love and staying happy in love isn't always that easy as you so wriote in this. The moon does help to guide through romance but a very obersing though about it possibly being lonely. The flow to this is great die to the perfect rhyme scheme. Excellent writing. Michael
