A Pastor's Prayer

Oh Lord, You called me to Your service... Help me to be a true servant to You. You called me to help guide the people of Your flock... Help me to shepherd them on the path to You. You called me to give of myself for them... Help me to be more giving. You called me to love Your people... Help me to love them, as You love me. You challenged me to face the evil among us... Help me to fearlessly turn my cheek to evil. You called me to speak Your words... Help me to speak them that those who hear my voice will understand them. You called me to bless Your people... Help be to be the blessing You give to them. For the gift of Your calling... Thank You, Thank You, Oh Lord.
