A Passing Breeze Across Your Sky

I wish I was a tiny raindrop
Falling upon your shoulder
Then gently upon your skin

I wish I was the sun
I'd shine 24 hours for you
To keep you warm within

I wish I was the wind
Blowing your beautiful hair
Watch you put it back into place

I wish I could watch over you
Night and Day
Yet, still have a tiny place

In which to watch you
Safe in your sleep
To wake you I would have to really try

Then realise I am but a second
A moment in your life
A passing breeze in your sky
